Danske Skilte
Danske Skilte is a tribute to handmade signs. It is designed to praise signs born with a soul and carry the person's stamp behind them. Signs created with the ambition to give the world a lasting spot of beauty are now collected in Danske Skilte. The photographer, Jon Nordstrøm, has taken new pictures for the entire book and, at the same time, has ensured that it has not 'just' become a snapshot. The photos do not document the present but the past in the present. The book transcends time and shows how the signs of the past over decades have lent their grace and dignity to us and our surroundings. The book is divided into chapters by font. There are typefaces, such as Antikva and Sans Serif, and the images of signs are organized according to these fonts. __ Editor & Writer.
