Brask Studio Visits VI

Brask Studio Visits VI gives you a rare chance to step inside the studios of 36 artists. An artist's studio is a sanctuary, and the work done there is lit by the spark of the moment. BSV—VI is designed to present uniqueness in the best way possible. Each studio, artist, piece of art, and moment when the visit occurs is unique. The design is stripped down to the bare minimum - a robust broth. Inspired by museums and galleries, we took the white walls into the book. Art needs an undisturbed space to flourish, so we've created Brask Studio Visits to be that undisturbing place. To celebrate every artist as an individual and on par with the other artists, we gave BSV—VI 36 different front pages, one for each of the book's artists. The 36 different editions of BSV—VI are each printed in 28 copies (adds up to 1.000 copies). This transforms every copy into one of very few. Marcus Gärde from Stockholm helped us design the custom font UG6 Grotesk for BSV—VI. The font is a modern Sans Serif Grotesk created in one weight only. It delivers optimal reading pleasure while having a distinct, intellectual, and humanistic personality. We use it in only one size and color throughout the book.
